Fertility Massage Therapy™ is a nourishing blend of modalities, that support harmony and balance in the reproductive, digestive & sacral areas of the body. On a deeper level, this unique therapy re-awakens and re-connects women to their bodies, in particular to the womb and pelvis. Nourishing to mind, body and spirit, Fertility Massage provides a holistic approach to nurturing fertility and balancing the menstrual cycle. It is also valuable when preparing for an IVF cycle
The massage works to gently bring the organs within the abdominal area into proper alignment, releasing pressure and strengthening the surrounding muscles and ligaments. This in turn improves blood, nerve, and lymph flow and feels deeply relaxing.
Of particular importance for fertility, Fertility Massage increases circulation to the womb, ovaries, and fallopian tubes, promoting hormonal balance and easing menstrual health challenges. It helps optimise alignment of the womb, assists the body in clearing pelvic congestion and old stagnant blood, and gently breaks down adhesions and scar tissue. It can be beneficial for preparing the womb for pregnancy and in realigning the abdominal organs postpartum. This unique form of massage continues to be valuable and nourishing during the peri-menopause and post-menopause years as well.
The other key area of the body that benefits from Fertility Massage is the digestive system, where 80% of our immune system resides. Circulation is greatly improved and the techniques used are soothing for the digestive tract and encourage natural movement and elimination. All of the above is hugely important for hormonal balance and overall health.
